Just another Saturday - 7-18-09

I just wanted to write a quick update today...

Sumi is showing some improvement - she had much more energy and enthusiasm for walking today. Unfortunately her rear legs are just healing so slowly. I don't know if she will ever regain full functioning in them. It looks like she's drunk because they go in different directions or don't hold her up quite right. She doesn't seem to be in pain, though, so that's a good thing. I can tell that she is getting impatient with not being able to play, too. She has barked at me a couple of times in the living room like, "where's my ball?" So that's a really good sign too. She also climbed into my lap voluntarily yesterday and today, which is something she hasn't done in weeks. So she must be feeling better. Keep praying for her.

Steve spent a couple of hours at the dentist today having a temporary bridge put in and preparing his teeth for a real bridge because he lost a tooth last weekend...poor guy.

I had my blood drawn on Monday and the labs are all within normal range, so that's good. I can't get in to see a doctor though until July 31st....

Sorry this is so short but I haven't been feeling good today at all....
