Rainy day

Well, the good weather didn't really last long. The temperature was 70 degrees at noon and now at 5:30 it's 40 degrees and pouring rain. It kind of matches my mood - last night was a hellish night of no sleep and lots of pain and fever. I hate this medication.

Watched "How to Make an American Quilt" this afternoon and really enjoyed learning about quilting - not something that is part of my family, though I think my Grandmother once quilted. However, I thought it kind of promoted infidelity as a normal part of life, so that was a bit disappointing.

Just thought I'd add another message - that's the point of a blog, isn't it?

Got my haircut this afternoon, so it wasn't completely unproductive. It looks okay right now but we'll see when I wash it and have to deal with it myself!
